Kernel Engineer

We are looking for extra ordinary programmers who have experience in low level language programming and zeal for system performance. As a kernel engineer at ESDS, you would be part of eNlight Hypervisor team. You would get the training and opportunity to work on open source projects around kernel and hypervisors. You will spend most of your day in designing high performance systems. If you think, you have what it needs to become a kernel developer, we are open.

Job Description:

Design Compute, Network & Storage Architecture
Modify open source projects to implement advanced functionality
Build and Test automation tools for kernel & hypervisors
Debug, Troubleshoot Performance and Stability issues
Provide Technical Guidance and Educate Team members
Test System Integrity and designs
Handle code deployments in all environments
Build, Maintain and Monitor Configuration Standards
Automate systems configuration by writing policies and modules for configuration
management tools
Contribute to open-source projects
Drafting Patents

Desired Skills & Experience:

Advance knowledge of hypervisors like Xen, KVM, Docker, HyperV, VMware
Able to modify and test kernel code
Advance knowledge of Python & C programming
Knowledge of Performance Benchmarking tools
Debugging and Troubleshooting skills
